When did that rule come on the CCC? The way things are going now days its not unheard of to see high 9 second street cars. Was there any reasoning behind this rule or has it been in place for a while now?

Because technically speaking, CCC is for street cars... aren't many street cars running around in the 9s. There are a few, but the vast majority are not street legal. Also, your tires need to be DOT approved. So ET Streets & Hoosier QTPs are about as wild as you can get on the tire... most 9 second cars are running the big ET Drags and such.
The reason the CCC was set up was for people who want to run brackets and not have to worry about competing against a Pro Comp car & driver. Of course, the drivers still compete under the NWMCA name just so they can add more trophies to the collection... :eyes: Those guys kind of miss the point of the CCC by having dozens of drivers who "double dip" in the different competitions, but whatever.

Yes, Bremerton. Gates open at 8:00. Most likely we northerners will need to leave (my house anyway) by 6 if we are driving around.
And I'm not sure when the 10 rule came into play, but since the roll bar req is still at 11.99, I'd say it was a couple years ago anyway.

Sounds good buddy. There are stakes & ties in the bag if you want to leave the canopy up over night as a poor mans tent.
And that means I can take the ferry over since you will already be there, & Bill has to work.

That's right, it is a shape... too bad its a shape that doesn't lend itself to fast ETs. :bang:
If I were Doug's size, the damn car would be in the 11s already. Hmmm... maybe I'll stop eating now, and fast all the way until raceday. Maybe if I don't faint from hunger, the car will be faster... :jest:

If I had an extra $750, I'd be in the 11s without having to starve myself this week. ;)
If you want, you can use my skinnies for a run on Saturday to see what you gain... that is, if I don't drive to there on the skinnies to begin with. My plan is to just change all four there at the track... glad I got my impact!

Unless Jesus himself comes to my house and miracles the car together on Friday, that's probably not going to happen. I still don't have the parts I need to put it together, and I wouldn't be racing it anyway because I can't risk breaking anything.

It has nothing to do with racing.
In fact, it won't be moving at all....once you got there anyway. Your car is prime for this, I was hoping you would have it running enough to drive to PT.

I'll most likely be there some point Friday to practice my R/T's. Gonna be a little different this weekend, T/A will be down cause I gotta send my flywheel and pressure plate back to Ram, then put new clutch disc in when those get back, also doing 9".(btw, I'd wait till after this weekend to start the project, but since the clutch is slipping and got the stock rear, don't really wanna run it anyway.) Sooo...I'll be there in my turbo inline-6 vehicle  . Hopefully I can get traction and be consistent. See y'all there!

Still may swing by just for fun.
