Probably a cookie issue. Try clearing your cookies, then immediately close the browser. Come back to LS1Tech and log back in. See if that fixes it.

I've closed it many times and reopened. Changed my password a couple days ago and been doing it since. Comp been rebooted. Is my lost post still available, as I sent it but a notice came up to contact somebody. Maybe it's still there?

Your lost post might have been available if you hit the back button very quickly after it messed up but, not now. :( A tip in the future that can keep your post safe. After you type up your post select all the text of your reply and hit Control and C at the same time. That will copy your post to the clipboard just in case something happens on the board. If something happens then all you have to do is go to the reply box and hit Control and V. That will paste your reply back. :) I use that when I type something big up just in case after having the same problem you had one time.
On the staying logged in deal. Try this in your browser.
1. Goto Tools --> Internet Options--->Privacy--->Sites or Edit.
2. There should now be a list of sites in a box. Find ls1tech.com and select it.
3. Hit the remove button and click ok.
4. Come back here and log in again selecting the "keep me logged in" option.
5. Once logged in close out and try to come back and see if your logged in still.
If not I have some more instructions. :D Actually, I'll just type them up cause I'm tired and want to go to bed. :D
1. If the above didn't work. Follow instruction one above again.
2. Follow instruction two above. If it says blocked next to it keep going.
3. Click the allow button and hit ok
4. Follow steps 4 and 5 above again.
If that doesn't work I don't know what to tell ya. :eek2:

I tried the above in every combo I could think of, won't stay logged on, and it says I last logged on an hour and 20 minutes ago, when I just got done logging on more than a half dozen times. My laptop does the same, and I stay logged on to my other site as usual on both comp, seems to be password change related. Help :bang:

I even lowered my security settings. I am spending way too much time on this issue. Please some program geek (a good thing) help me out. Thanks

Ok, I'll give it one more shot if you want to try this. :)
Make sure you know all your passwords for other sites first though. ;)
Goto: Tools--->Internet Options--->Delete Cookies
1. It'll prompt you to "Delete all Cookie in temporary internet folder" Select Ok.
2. Come back here and log in again. Make sure you close this website and the browser down completely, exit out completely after you do #1 above though.
3. If you have cookie handling on "prompt" then make sure to allow the LS1Tech cookie if it asks.
4. If you come to this site and see a little icon like shown below by the green arrow in the attatchment at the bottom of your screen then for whatever reason the LS1Tech cookie is not being allowed on your computer and that is causing your problems. Try going back into Internet options like talked about above and allowing it. Make sure to close out LS1Tech and the browser after doing so though. If you come straight back it may cause something funky to happen with the cookie, I don't know.
If that doesn't help then I don't know what to tell ya. Brains is the webmaster so if he can't help then that's not good. :eek2: ;)

Delete my cookies, I am on about 30+ forums, not to metion other sites (and no new problem ? No little X in my bar? Brian did not say he couldn't help, but that I have to ask questions on forum, even though it promted me to send to web master? Also, after logging on an repling to threads if i don't do it fast enough I have to relog on, this has also never been this way before.

I'm not exactly sure what the issue is, but staying logged in is 100% controlled by cookie handling. Do you have any internet firewall or internet security software installed that may be modifying or removing your cookies?

Yes, I have a firewall, broadband, router and modem, but nothing has changed except I change my password and later even lowered my cookies security. What's puzzling is all my other forums, I stay logged on as normal. This is driving me loco.

after you do what XLR8NSS said, and it still doesn't work, go in and manually delete all your cookies. IE has issues w/cookies like Brains has said, sometimes it won't clear a cookie even if you ask it too. I have no idea what OS you are running and am not going to explain it, but you need to go find the folder that holds all your cookies(should be in Systems folder). delete them ALL. then reboot the computer and bring up LS1Tech. if you're still logged in, you have issues lol.
allowing certain cookies never really worked for me in IE until I installed Firefox and Firefox apparently has a better control function, and overrides IE. Works great now :)

Still trying to figure this. One more thing leads me to believe it may be on your end, I've logged on at least a half dozen times in the last few minutes and it says the last time I visted was at 9:37am. Man I am spending way, way to much time on this. I don't want to delete my cookies as I have about a 1000 of them for various, forums and sites and business. Can I just delet the ls1tech cookies.
Windows xp and been using IE for years with forums and no problemos.

Yes, just delete any and every LS1Tech cookie on your computer. If there is more than one in your cookies folder that could be the problem.

It reads the 'last visit' time from your cookie. If the issues were on ls1tech's end, you would not be the only person posting about having this problem.
Follow these instructions to delete all cookies with ls1tech.com and/or www.ls1tech.com in their filename: http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=73952

system says the last visit before this one was 11:37. you CAN delete only the LS1Tech cookies, but that requires to you to individually check every cookie(or just search for them) for whether it pertains to LS1Tech, and then deleting the ones that do.
a better way to do it would be to make a backup of all your cookies, and put it in another folder. clear ALL your cookies, and then log back into LS1Tech. copy the old cookies into your regular cookie folder, but DO NOT replace any LS1Tech cookies. that should leave you with all your old cookies, but have new updated 'Tech cookies.

Got it I think after 2 hours this time around. Seems to have been, like you said, cookies. One I couldn't delete ls1tech Vbulletin? Thanks for the help on a frustrating problem.
Edit: Oh yea, there was probably at least 100 or more ls1tech cookies. :)
