Racer's Lounge - Sell all mods, get new bike? Keep mods, no bike?

What would yall do? I want a newer bike. A harley first, but I cant afford one right now. So, I am looking at a '03 CB 919. Becasue I am in college, I got a budget, so if I sell all my parts I have acquired, and all mods on the car, I can buy the bike. But, that means a mostly bone stock car........What would you do?

I have some un-installed/installed parts- QTP LT's, QTP catted Y, sweet thunders, magnaflow X, lots of piping to run duals over the axle, BMR LCA's, Hotchkis springs, Hotckis DA panhard bar, BMR xtreme STB, SLP SFC's, misc stuff-02sims, gaskets, stage 8 bolts, 02 extensions

so exaust and some suspension. What's it worth? About 30 rwhp and better handling, or a bike?

I would say keep the mods. But you have to think about this. I dont know what that bike is the CB 919 is it supposed to be a CBR? But if it is a crotch rocket think about the insurance that you will be paying. I know I have looked at insurance on a R6 and it is about 2000 a year. And on a Harley it is like 250 for the year. So I figured that would go a long ways towards a Harley. So either way you probaly have money for a Harley depending on model. Just some food for thought.

This is what I am looking at buying. I dont like sport bikes, as its hard to ride distances with them. However, I do like the handling they offer, so this is a compromise.

Buy The Bike....

For anyone interested, I bought a 03 yamaha v-star, and kept all the mods. Ill ride the heck out of this bike, sell it along with my chevelle, and put a nice downpayment on what I really want, a Springer softail :devil:
