Looks good.

Are you picking up your car using the radiator support?

Yes, with the engine out two of us could pick the front of the car up so its not too heavy.
Only took about an hour to get it bolted in and wired. Would have been better to put the harness on the engine first but we left it in the car

That would be pretty funny with the guy magically appearing in the one pic and dropping out in the next!

As far is the procedure goes, that is SLICK - I yanked the motor on an 84 Z28 a few (ok like 15) years ago and hated it!

When you get it tuned and broke in post up a vid of a WOT run (if you do those sorts of things!!)

I will have to get some et radials for the street. I took it up to 4800rpm at half throttle today in third it just spins the Nittos at 26psi.
Tuning in probably two weeks then some WOT video's will follow. Then later this year maybe some 200 shot runs will follow. I don't think the 4.11's will like the N2O. Might have to goto 3.73.

Ya, I learned of this procedure AFTER I pulled and replaced my motor from the top. NEVER again will I do that.

Very nice sounding engine, APE does some great work and I'm sure you'll be more than happy with their product.

I took it out the top about six months ago. After some looking I decided it would be much faster to put it in the bottom. I was going to take it out the top but my old garage door was not high enough to get the car over the engine with the door up. Sure glad I moved a month ago.

Uhh Ohh.

Looks like I have to take it back apart. The rear main seems to be leaking pretty good.

THIS SUCKS

We had the engine setting on two car dollies with a 2x10 between them and the trans was setting on an old wooden creeper. The engine/trans was probably 8-10 inches off the ground.
