Default stock clutch life?

I was told stock clutches only last for about 45-50k miles, is this true? The reason I am asking is because I have 89k on my car, and I dont know how long the stock one should last, or even if it is the stock clutch? If it wasnt stock, would there be any way I would be able to tell? Sorry for all the newbie questions, Im still trying to learn all this shizit. Thank you for your time.

imo clutch life depends on how you drive it. my friend has a 91 5.0 mustang with 130,000 miles on stock clutch.(he drives it like an old lady tho)
