Default FM14 is IN! First Startup Video!

Finally I have finished installing the FM14 cam in my car. All I have to say is that I am blown away by the sound of it. Lopes like a **** It is amazing and drives fabulous on a stock tuning. Haven't gotten on it yet, still breaking it in. Here's a short video of when my father and I first started it up.

Glad you're happy with the install. Did you have to drill the TB, or did it idle fine on stock tune. Reason I ask is that mine wasn't even close to finding an idle until I had it tuned.

E-mailing the video to you all. I've finally got to drive it fully today and here are my impressions.

The car has a rough idle, which sounds nasty, but tends to stall out every now and then. Nothing to bad, but it's what I expected. I did get on it a few times and the gears climb really slowly, put the car pulled nicely. I only banged through 1st and 2nd and after putting it in neutral, the car would just die out. No idea why, maybe someone can explain this to me. A dynotune will cure all these little problems and I hope to be heading to East Side Performance within the next week.

the neutral dying is normal w/o a tune. the idle air stuff needs to be tweaked.

sounds good, i like the sound through the catback... hopefully i'll get a clip of mine w/ duals some day..

Thanks for the comments. The idle problems I expected. I drilled the hole in the TB a little bigger, and it helped a bit. I'll make more videos this weekend for you all. Hopefully that'll include a dynotune video

Well the worest case senario has happend, my oil pressure has died on me. I had to get the car towed home and I guess it's time to rip apart the engine again. Anyone here have any idea why this could of happened besides possible human error or something?

Sounds like an oil pump issue. Was the oil full when you picked it up?

More than likley the pick-up tube o-ring, assuming you took the oil pump off.

Check and make sure the o-ring on the pickup tube stayed seated when you put it into the pump.

question, does it matter where the oil o ring is seated? I seated it on the oil pick up tube and not in the oil pump itself. Would that be the problem?
