Question 98 In-Tank Aftermarket Fuel Pump Question

Im trying to get all parts before I start this.

But I was told that on 98 f-bodies there is rod that
you attach the aftermarket fuel pump too. I was also
told to use radiator hose and a hose clamp attach them.

What has everybody else used since I am not sure that
radiator hose is fuel compatible?

I used the Walbro 340 and just used a large hose clamp to clamp the pump down to the bracket. No problems.
