Drag Racing Results - my first run in Bahrain drag racing club!

Well guys I finally decided to join the guys and test my stock LT1 97 Camaro...

I wasnt sure of the results but I was told by the guys on the track prep that with my stock specs and street tyres I would get 16's or or low 17's !!!!!!

anyway continued my way to the start line....

and

my first test run I got on my 1/4mile 14.4

second run I got 14.3

and then I messed up or probably the engine got bit heated I started getting 14.5 and 14.4...

I dont know if that was good or not but thought of sharing this info and I am hoping for so feed back!

and I am thinking of getting some stuff on this car for crying out loud... somthing like headers and a new dif 3.42 Plus drag radials...

what do you think?

I was wondering what to start with??

I have been told by a friend of mine to get set of good'ol 3.42 ratio and get some long tube on it as well.... he also recommended to get a high stall of Tourqe converter...

gimme some cool simple mis that will kick me to low 13's... :)
