Hello everyone. i need your advice. I have a 1999 automatic corvette.
my mods currently: LG long tube headers/off road x pipe/borla catback, vortex ram air, ported mass air, and i changed the gears to 3.42, still has the stock torque converter. i am thinking of doing the pulleys, LS6 intake, and the MTI stageII stealth cam. MTI has told me i will not have to change the torque converter, and i really dont want to since its really not going to be a track car.its not a daily driver, maybe once a week or so.anyone running with the MTI stealthII cam?if so, what gains am i looking to get? I have heard the vette auto tranny is good for 400rwhp, should i do the MTI stage2E heads while i am at it? will i still be able to get away with leaving the stock converter in? anyone with a dyno graph of the cam only?and cam and stage2E heads? thanks in advance.
