How much hp will a Holley Blue Pump support??

Default How much hp will a Holley Blue Pump support??

Im using it for a stand alone fuel system and Im spraying a 200 shot now. I want to run a 250 shot when I dyno but cant remember if the blue pump will support that much hp.

Yes it will support that with no problems.I know it will support up to around 600 but I cant remmber exactly.Ill find out and post it later.

Damn I thought it could only support 250-300 hp, atleast thats what I was told from the guy I bought it from. Just to clarify its a Holley Blue Pump that runs low psi, around 10-15 psi is its max I think. Thanks for the info BTW!!!

The supporting Hp depends on the fuel pressure you are operating at. An easy way to tell, just use a flow tool for a nozzle system or just the nozzle for single nozzle. using either anequalivent jet to the direct port or the actual jet for single nozzle, spray fuel into a proper container, set the regulator to the pressure you want or need. If you can get to that pressure and all is steady, you are good and your fuel system is adequit. If you can not get to pressure you have 2 choises, change the pressure and pill combination, or get a larger pump.

i'm running that pump on my 550 hp sbc @8-9 psi with no problems.you will run out of volume in your nitrous line long before you run out of pump.
