Default Any valve springs that dont sound like a bunch of tamborines under the hood?

Right now I've got the LS6 springs with the GM Hot Cam. I'm wanting to get a different cam and of course swap out the springs. My question is, are there any springs out there that dont sound like 50 tamborines shaking under the hood?

It's not the springs that cause the noise, but the lobe design of the cam. Steep ramps on the cam will create some valve train noise, so will pushrods that are too short.

Well, I did not know that. I always thought it was the springs. SO..I have the stock pushrods, should I have changed those? I probably will when I go with a bigger cam and new springs. Thanks for the info. I guess I dont know it all after all

yes, stock PRs flex under stock applications. Pushing them against heavy springs is probably a bad idea.
