Default Installed new clutch

I installed an LUK replacement clutch on my 02 WS6. Now the pedal grabs really low upon release. Is this because the clutch is new and needs to break or is something wrong. I didnt disconnect any hydraulics so there shouldn't be and concern with them.

Any ideas.

As long as the clutch is engaging and disengaging ok, you should be OK. If you can't stand it, you have 2 options. Use an adjustable master cylinder to move the engagement point up, or shim the slave cylinder.

I had the same problem with my RAM.
replacing the slave took care of the problem.
Then again my is a 98.
