What have people paid to have thier heads ported?

$250 just for porting and no valve job.

I HAVE been charging 450 bucks or so just for port work and shipping.

I think most people have to pay more than I did; I just happened to know a nice guy. He is local so there was no shipping involved.

For the second set of heads, I ported them myself. That's a hell of a lot of work for $250.

So, is that cost ported, polished and ready to reassemble? Assuming the dis- and reassembly is done elsewhere.

I gave him two heads, one assembled and one disassembled, but they both came back assembled. I don't think he cares which way he gets them. I actually paid him an extra $150 above that to do a valve job at the same time. I bought the valves myself though. He recycled the intake valves.

we charge 500 for cnc work only on our 5.3 heads.

real good price when you consider with just a valve job the flow 310..if you use the right valve angles

We offer the Precision Race Components Stage 2.5 port cnc'd into a customers core for $500! We also have several castings in stock incase someone needs to do exchange to keep down time to a minimum

If I have a set of stock LS6 heads, and want to keep the stock valves, how much for a basic CNC of them?
I can get the valve job done locally.
