Default LS1_SS running scams? - Resolved

https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...8&page=1&pp=10

This post went up on 5/10/05. He purchesed a cam from my friend and sent paypal ( my friend had it sent to my paypal account as I have one and he doesnt) . 5/11/05 this package was shipped out and he was sent the tracking number. Then today I get contacted by paypal he disputed the charges. Check this scam out . Look what his complaint is

-----------------------------------------------------------------
Buyer's Comments:
Havent heard anything. He said a week ago he shipped it. I havent gotten anything and he wont give me a tracking number. I have tried to cantact him numerous times and havent heard anything.
Date of Complaint:
May 12, 2005
Status:
Reviewing Your Response
Status Details:
The buyer has filed a claim stating that he is dissatisfied with this transaction. We have received the following tracking information:

Shipping Company: UPS

Tracking Number: 1z149x810319751312

------------------------------------------------------------------

Now tell me if i am wrong but today is only the 12th and he recieved the tracking number yesterday. What is he trying to get something for nothing?
How can he be trying to contact us for over a week when the cam went up for sale 2 days ago?

Anyone have any ideas what this is all about? Every hear of anything like this?

That's messed up. I know both DeepBlueZ & Offaxis, and can attest to the fact that they are both good people to deal with.

The funds are "locked" right now, but Paypal can free them.

Did you ship it to a Confirmed Paypal Address? If so, then once the UPS tracking number shows as delivered, then your funds will be returned. Go thorugh the Paypal dispute resolution process, send Paypal the UPS tracking number, and upon delivery, the funds should be released to you.

I've had this happen to me a couple of times (mix ups, usually the post office holds the package and doesn't leave a note for the customer to come get it). Once the customer gets their package, I get my money.

Good to hear andrew

I dont know how there could be a big misunderstandig like this though. Not within this time line.

Hopefully it all works itself out. I didnt want to post but I have never had a complaint or dispute ever and this guy makes up some bogus story. Thats just wrong.

offaxis and DeepBlueZ are very good friends of mine and I have personally done business with Offaxis NUMEROUS amount times. DeepblueZ I am good friends with and I KNOW his personal dealings are ROCK SOLID and never would screw ANYONE.

If ANYONE had a problem with either one of them trust me.. offaxis and deepbluez would be right there to rectify situation.

I know this cam has ONLY BEEN ON SALE FOR ABOUT 2-3 HOURS since I was the first one to respond to the brand new post.

This guy is BULLSHIT who made the claim!

I sold some stuff (MAC headers) a little while, back to LS1_SS and he paid for them right away. I even took over a week to ship them and he said it wasnt a problem - didnt have any issue and he seemed like an OK guy. Maybe he disputed the wrong item on paypal. who knows.

I sold some heads to LS1 SS about a month and a half ago and he p.p. me immediatly, and all went smooth. I think there is some kind of misunderstanding, maybe a mixup as, "kp" said.

Sorry guys I just canceled the dispute. I has a dipute with another person for the same amount the day before I sent DeepBlueZ his money. I accidentally clicked his transaction instead on the one I should have... He told me and I cancelled it just now.. Sorry my mistake!!
