Default Can an F-body shifter be modified to fit a vette?

Hey guys, I just picked up a 99 FRC, and I love it! I've had many f-bodies, and still have my other baby, my 99 SS, and I have a question about the shifters. I know the shifters are not compatible, and I see whats available for the C5 and I'm not impressed. I've had the Hurst, the Ripper, and a few others in my various Camaro's, but the one I like best is the Pro 5.0. I was wondering if there was any way to modify a Camaro Pro 5.0 to fit my Corvette. Has anyone tried this?
