Default TSP cam

Ok first off I just wanna say, I love my cam... but my question is, I did a search, and why cant I find ANYONE on here with a TSP 231/231 .598/.598 camshaft, or any dyno info or anything else for that matter about this cam from other members on the board. Im pretty sure I cant be the only person who bought this cam, lol. If you got one or numbers on em etc, please speak up! Thanks

Not many people have a TSP 235/240 either. Seems to be a TSP trademark to make a few odd cams.

It might have helped to put 231/231 specifically in the title. A thread titled "TSP cam" doesn't jump out very well. Think about it this way...if somebody else asked the exact same thing and had 231/231 in the title it would be much easier to find with search. When people see something with their cam in the title they are more likley to clicky than if it just says "TSP cam".

I havn't seen hardly anything on this cam. At all...

I'm glad to hear you like it!! The cam hasnt been around a very long time and I believe came out around the time the 233/239 came out so It mightve been swallowed up by the 233/239 sales

I'm interested in seeing what this came does, from my understanding it makes decent low end power for it's size....Post up your E.T. and dyno results for us and maybe a soundclip for us lovers of lope!!

Ya and I thought about that. The reason I put TSP cam is so that people in general come in that might even happen to know someone who has a 231/231 cam and chime in with some info. But thanks...

Well, with basically nothing more than that cam kit, and some headers with ORY I went from a 13 flat to a 12.6 untuned and bouncing off the rev limiter due to my slipping transmission. I also put down like almost 350hp and 360tq again, untuned, with this cam and headers & ORY. Now that Ive got a few more mods, Im going to get it tuned and a new transmission in it, well see what kind of numbers I put down.

.4 off your et untuned is awesome, I know how the slipping transmission scenario is ....what mph did you gain??

Is the 350/360 with or without an LS6 manifold??....cant wait to see a graph after its tuned

103 to 109 for mph gain, and that was with the stock LS1 manifold.

I have an untuned graph, its not bad

Yeh, for the kind of improvement it gave me on the track untuned you cant really go wrong. As far not being able to wait to see what it does tuned, thats you and me both. Very soon...

So when do you plan on installing it, plan on getting it dyno'd and getting a tune?
