Default Evo's Questions

Ok guys this has been posted many times. I did my searches but didn't find an answer. If I get the 18X9 rim will 295/r35/18 tire fit it? I cant decide on 18' or 19' inch Evo's. Performance wise what's better for traction? Where is the best place & price to get them from? If I do get them I'll get the hyperdark! Thanx!

DO NOT GET THEM FROM WHEELGUYZ!!!!!!

I got mine a month ago and 3 out of 4 were scratched and 4 damn weeks later I am still tying to get replacements, I told them they have until tomorrow to ship new ones or they will be refunding my money and picking up this last wheel and I will take my business elsewhere.

I had 295's on my 03 Lightning with 20x8.5in rims with no problem. Personally I think you'll be fine with a 295 tire.

Yes but a pickup truck has HUGE side walls, I beleive a 45 series, where a 35 is a very short sidewall.

Manufacturer recommends a 10" wide wheel minimum for a 295/35ZR18.

What they said...stay far, far away.

IMO, the 295 should fit on a 9 inch rim. I've run a 265 on a 7 inch rim before, FWIW.

I was quoted $650 for 4 18x8's or 4 18x9's and $800 for 2 18x8 (or 18x9) and 2 19x9.5 I can get you the contact info for that individual if you'd like.

IMHO, I wouldn't get anything less than the 9 inch wide. The 8 inch evo lip doesn't look as good as the 9 inch lip.
