I dont know that much about heads, but I do know that the 5.3 will raise your compression ratio and is better for n/a setups. The 6.0 heads will lower your compression ratio and is best for forced induction. The ls6 heads will give you the most hp out of those three, but will be more expensive.

Enough differences to write a book about them. Primary differences are runner design and cumbustion chamber design and size. I believe the guys over in the Internal Section could better answer this question.

all you need to focus on really is the cc's of the chamber. the 6.0L will have a bigger chamber then the rest and the 5.3 will have the smallest of the bunch. as stated before, the 5.3L raises the comp ratio which is good for n/a (and also great for nitrous), and the 6.0L will lower comp ratio for boost applications. so before you buy heads, it is best to decide where you want to go with your car. better that then buying 5.3L heads now so you can go fast and later deciding you want to put a blower on the car and having to replace the heads again
