Would TR6 plugs help...
I'm still fighting some low TPS surge issues. Feels like I get bucking in the low gears, even up at 2400 rpm. There's no audible knock and acceleration is fine; it is just steady low speed driving that is a problem. Pulling some timing and leaning the VE has helped a bit. My cam is not that big (0 overlap at .05; same as 224/224 112). I'm wondering with the switch to higher compression if I should try a colder plug. Compression ratio is in the high 10.X range. I don't have a source of 100 octane gas to experiment with.

I've found that nailing the VE tables helps the most. Once I got all my s-trims close to 0%, I then had to re-scale my MAF (from 4000 Hertz and lower) to get my MAF readings to agree with my s-trims. A lot of people forget to rescale the MAF once they do a good VE table tune.
