Default Trying to install Edit another computer???

I did it before...but I can't remember how to do it? I have all the files to install it. I had it on my laptop and my PC before. I seem to remember something about extracting files into another folder...but not sure.

Can anyone Help???

Thanks Alot!

You should have 3 Zip files. Create a temporary directory and unzip them all to that directory. You should end up with:
LS1_ed1.cab
LS1_ed2.cab
LS1_ed3.cab
Setup.lst
Setup.exe

Then just run setup from that directory.

There are some compatability issues with some versions of LS1edit and XP SP2 if especially if the computer has an AMD processor. You probably need to email Carputing with details of what version of Edit you have and the details of the PC you are installing it on.

My PC does have an AMD processor, but the weird thing is, my laptop has Win2K, and it still won't run, it just times out, interesting...thanks for the help!!!

I will try it again on my laptop with the install you suggested.

Thanks Again!!!
