I'm with FLTransAm02. Is it just a weight issue or are they built to different strengths? I know that chrome moly is stronger than the mild steel but it is built thinner and lighter so are they equal in strength?

The Chrome Moly we use for this brace yes has a thinner wall tubing making the brace lighter yet just as strong. Chrome Moly is a air craft tubing that has a much higher tensile and yield strength then Mild steel. This allows you to use a thinner wall tubing.

If you read the descriptions on our web site you will see this as well as the weight savings

I read the item descriptions and im still confused...

I use my car for daily driving, as a street car, hardly ever go to the strip, and enjoy "taking on" corners..is the chrome moly a better choice for me? Or will they both have about the same effect?

I feel they will both have the same effect. Basically the chrome moly version is lighter. If you are not worried about the half a pound difference in weight save the $20.00 and the mild steel will work just fine for you.

Both braces look identical

Hope that helps!

Glad to help

We don't really have a set date on it, most likely another week or week and a half.

I will be placing my order Wednesday night. I'm torn on red or silver.... I think the red would look best with a red car.
