Default Sorry, i couldnt find anything. m6 and wetkits

i found a good deal on a wetkit, i was thinking to use it on my 6sd car. i can only remmember the numerous backfires on my lt1 car with and nx wetkit(A4)

will this thing back fire when i shift? im not real fimila with how window switches work, i know they can cut the nitrous off at a certain rpm, but can they cut the gas off to?

should i just convert the kit to a dry kit?
will the pills be the same?

Vince

yes the window switch will shut off the fuel and nitrous noids. If you didn't have one on your old set up that's probably why you had backfires.

Definately get a window switch for a M6 car, and is also not a bad idea for A4's too. Lugging the motor is probably what caused the backfires, which can be caused by spraying at too low of an rpm.

keep the spray in the high r's and you'll be fine with backfiring...but you need a window switch for safety sake. i recommend a timing tuner..excellent piece.!!

you dont need 1 but if your not too sure of yourself on shifts or have ever missed a shift then its not a bad idea.

Shifting shouldn't turn off the nitrous with the window switch unless your RPMs drop below 3000 (or whatever you have your in point set at...) The WOT switch will shut off the nitrous when you lift your foot. That's what you need, IMO...
