Default Can you use 3 channel axle in place of 4 channel axle???

Does anyone know if the axle that does not have the reluctor ring can be used in place of an axle that did have the reluctor ring?

I know the ring is necessary for the 4 channel but can the ring be removed from the old damaged axle and put on the other axle (3 channel)that did not come with the reluctor ring on it?

Thanks for your help.

Nope, there is no flange on the 3 channel axle for the ring. I may be able to post pics of both tonight and show you.

BTW, I've got a couple of 4 channel axles if you need them - and I am coming to SC the first week of June.

I don't need the 4 channel but someone I know is needing them. How much are you wanting and I will pass it along. Thanks for the information, and pics would be great if possible.

Thanks, tommy

Sorry it took me so long to reply. Here is a pic comparing the two.

I went ahead and decided to get serious about getting rid of these, so I put them on Ebay. Link is here:
