Gears & Axles - Boxed or tubular LCA's

Im looking to buy some LCA's for my car. i was wondering if i should buy the tubular or the boxed style ones. thanks for the help

For most cars tubular is fine. If you strictly drag race & have well over 400rwhp then I'd go with boxed. <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0">

Tubular ones are a bit lighter and can give you a bit more tire clearance, too.

My friend Mike Ruth of Alston Racing generally takes credit for inventing the tubular lower control arm. He said he started making tubular ones for a company which in turn repackaged them as their own. He said it was strictly to differentiate the product line. He has told me that there really is no difference.
