Default TNA Short stick install

today I got a TNA short throw handle int he mail. I removed the leather boot from my shifter and looked at the stock handle. But i cant seem to get to the bottom of the stock handle to remove the bolts. The "6" rubber boot is covering the bottom part of the handle. I have a WS6, does that mean I should have hurst shifter??? The stick I see has 1 bend in it and is silver on color. So, what handle do I have? And why do I have to take the whole console out to take off the rubber boot to get to the bolts when other people dont have to?

To get that rubber boot/cover off you need to loosen the center console, then lift it up and move it around, or just remove it totally, then take the 6 or 8, little 7mm screws out of the rubber cover to get to the shifter bolts. They are hard to get to on the sides, you will have to pull back on the carpet and get in there. Once you do it once, it's a breeze later, I've done it like 10 times already
