Ok here is what I want to do.I dont want to wait for my engine temp to reach 145 before my converter locks up for normal driving ,With my 4000 verter.I mean my engine is running alot higher rpm's than I want it to when cold.How with HP Tuners can I make it lock up ,say around 120 degrees or so?Thanks for the help....

I wasnt aware that it wouldnt lock up... I thought mine does but im not sure.

I don't have HPT but was wondering about the same thing - mine won't lock until 141 degrees consistently. What's a safe temp?

Mine Locks up consistantly @ 145 degree engine temp,This sucks ,I want it to lock up sooner if possible....

You might have to install a manual lock up switch. Thats what I did.
