I have a 2000 silverado 4.8 that devlloped a problem recently.the truck started to run rough between 1500 to 2k then smoths out agian after that. after about 2 weeks when I would run the truck on cool morning's the truck started throwing a #8 misfire code once it reached 180's on the theristat. after the truck was run 10 minutes or so the problem would go away. after another week it started to do it anytime I got in the truck to drive it weather it was cool or not but only after it reach 180 degrees. also I reset the computer twice since this started. the check engine light has stated off and it ran really smooth untile it set off the code agina 50-100 miles later.I replaced the injector's the #8 coil all plugs and wire's. I'm replacing the knock sensor tomorrow and thne doing the o2 after that, anyone have any idead's what this might be? after the knock and o2 I'm kind of stomped.any help would be appricatded thank's.
