A dealership near me still has an 04 goat on the lot. What price do you guys think they would come down to.

I have looked at buying an 04 (I think I am set on the 05, but never say never) and the wife found one a Villa Park (m6, purple w/ 05 hood) and said he would sell at $26,900, but I bet they will come off of that if you press. Right now, there is the GM hotbutton, which is another $1000 and if you have a GM card you can get what ever bonus you have racked up plus another $750. So, I think the dealers want to move them, but they aren't going to give them away. So be reasonable.
I know of three 04 A4's at the Pontiac dealer in McHenry. I don't know what their price is, but they seem to be a real nice to deal with.
If you belong to Costco or Sams I would go through their auto sales program because their price starts right at $100 over invoice on '05's. I don't know how they do 04's but it doesn't hurt to ask. Again you can find a deal, but be reasonable. It always helps if you have something to trade in, or a nice down payment.

No such thing as an OEM factory sunroof . . . .
lets see the gto is a monaro and they come with optional factory sunroof ????
The sunroof is subbed out by the dealerships...Its not a factory option, personally I would NEVER buy this car with another companies sunroof installed.
I could have bought my 04 (new, leftover) in December of 2004 for $21K with all the rebates and stuff....I elased instead ($158 month basically). I wouldn't give them over $21K for it because the valuae of the 04 is for crap now that the 05 has the LS2...like buying a 97 TA and then Wham the LS1 comes out in 98.....
I like my 04 alot, but would obviously rather have an 05. Of course for $3800 for two year lease, I will live with it!
The 04 is not crap as far as pricing...The 05 has high CR which means no turbo,no blower and the 05 bumper is fugly.I do like the LS2 and big brakes though and wouldve bought the 05 but not for 7500 more than my 04.

They're not getting lease deals, these are buy deals. GM fucked up by announcing the "05 with the 400 HP ls2 before they sold the 350HP ls-1'S. People like me will will buy the ls1 because of the aftermarket support, but most people don't mess with warrantied Hi performance vehicles. They would rather just buy a hotrod from the factory. I forget sometimes that some people actually care about that factory warranty and insurance rates.

Hell, if I could buy for 150/mo I'd be on an 04 without question.

You can get an 04 GTO for 23,000. The pontiac dealership here ( Mossy motors ) where selling them for 23,000. You may want to wait because in a couple of years they will be changing the body style because the sales where not high as they expected.

theres two 04 gto's at a dealership in my town, both have been there right at a year and have about 200 miles on both. I went and talked to them about a month ago about 23,000 on one and they didnt want to go there, but there more of a toyota dealer and they really dont know dick about the car. i email with an offer to get out the door for under 25,000, but they have to take my trade in which they will have to pay about 3000 on. Well see if they bite and i'll repost later.

I picked up my '04 GTO A4 black/black from a private party in Atlanta for $22,500. It only had 486 miles on it and was only 5 months into warranty. Almost a brans new car. Since I bought private party in Georgia there is NO SALES TAX. I paid $23 to transfer my tag.
