which torque converter is best for me?
.I have a 98 z28 with only minor mods, holley intake, volant cold air intake, granatelli MAf, cut out, borla exhaust and some headers are on their way but I want to know which converter is best for me with this mods. I am looking to get a vigilante 3200 thats what people and one guy at MTI told me that is the best choice especially if it's gonna be a daily driver. What do you guys think thank you

vig 3200 is a good DD verter(same one im runnin) It should suit ur cars setup just fine and still be good if u plan on mildly cammin or sprayin it later down the road.
i had this same verter on my old 99Z daily driver w/ bolt-ons and an F11 cam 228/230 and it was great but im prolly gonna change mine it now though cuz i think its a lil loose for the cam im running now F14 232/234

Im bias, but the Vig3200 is a great choice. The shitty tracks down here in South Fl can't handle much more. I run 16" MT drag radial's and cut consistant 1.6's. This converter pulls strong but doesn't hit all at once, so you have more control how you launch. If the track is really prep just mash it from idle.
