Corvette Performance - Who has ZR1 wheels on a C5?

I posted a thread earlier wondering if the ZR1 wheels (17x11) would fit on the C5. Two guys said they had them on there Vettes. I went ahead and bought the rims, and I'm buying drag radials Monday (315/35x17). I'm still worried that the wheels (tire and rim) won't fit on the car. I only bought the rear two rims for track use only, and they have a +50 offset (don't know what that means). I just want to use them for the drag strip.

ive seen several c5 vettes with ZR1 rims, but im not exactly sure on the fitment, but what i do know is they look awesome!are you buying nitto DR's?i would possibly reccomend a BFG over a nitto for track use.

I'm not getting the Nittos, I'm gonna get the BFG G-Force T/A Drag Radial 2. The3y got good ratings and they're pretty very inexpensive.......As far as the rims go, I think I'm gonna take the rim down to the tire shop and have them check it out....

my buddy had them on his c5 they :devil: fit fine 17x11 and they look menacing

kool, the t/a drags are awesome, the nitto's just dont perform or look as good as the bfg's.

I have two sets of 17x9/17x11 ZR1 wheel/tire combos for my camaro, silver and black... never put them on my vette... glad you got pics cause I am too lazy to change wheels.. :) They look pretty good though, I bet my black ones would go well with my color.

I only have the rear 17x11's and theyre strictly for drag racing. I have BFG DR's on them and put them on for the track and take them off when I go home. FYI, they stick out about an inch from under the wheel well. I personally think it looks awesome......especially with all that tire under there. :devil:

I run 18x10s w 315s, the only problem with 'f-body' tire combos like the 17x11/315/35/17 is that they are about 1" shorter than the vette stock height, and cause the rear to sit a little lower, makes me nervous sometimes since I lowered it a bit.

i have them on my 98, 255/35 17's up fron and 305/35 18's kumho ecsta mx's, which will not go back on once these wear out which shouldnt take long. barely got 12k out of my last set with minimal abuse. any suggestions on what i should go with next?
