I'm still new to nitrous, but I would assume any WOT switch is fine. I mean its just basically a push button, just mini-sized. Buy whatever is onsale I guess. Luckily mine got thrown in when I bought my Window Switch

the best window switch out there now is the FJO unit. Dual window switches with a tps switch and can be upgraded to a progressive unit.

So for 279 dollars you get duel window switch and a progressive unit? How is the progressive side of this anyone running one of these? Would you think the maximizer is better?

Nothing touches the maximizer or Maximizer 2. This unit is for the customer that wants to buy a window switch now and later in life upgrade to progressive system. This lets you see if you like progressive systems or not, and 1/2 the cost of the Maximizer s.
279, you get 2 window switchs, 1 tps switch, 1 noid driver.

Just found out with the new driver it can be wired to control two stages so one drive is all that is needed.

I got my MSD Digital Window Switch for 70 bucks used. Works just fine. I have some traction issues so if I can't get those fixed with some sticky tires and some suspension work then I will probably end up getting the BMN unit.

I use the old style MSD window switch. There really isn't much to it. You have to buy the modules to make it work, but it works very well.

I also am running the digital window switch from msd, with the Nx maf kit, spraying 150 hp, while the 1st gear lock out is nice, I just turn down the sensitivity on my NX WOT switch so it is delayed a little, it works out that I can get the whole way through first and mid way threw second(have it set to 3100 on and 5800 off) before it reads 4.5 volts and tripps the noids, nice budget traction tip!

Bringing this thread back up top.

Installing a new Digital MSD win. sw. on my friends Z06 and it doesn't work. Called MSD and they said "oops, one must have slipped through QA/QC."

Well, let me say this: I've had 2 different friends that went through 3 MSD 6AL ignition boxes. What gives on their Quality Control?

They also told my friend that the old pill style MSD win. sw. "can" send signal back to the ECM and ruin it on LS1's ? It "CAN" ...well does it or doesn't it? It's great calling tech. lines when they dont give you positive answers.

I see tons of LS1's on here using the old pill style, anyone else heard of this issue ? ?

I have heard of it, in fact we have about 5 units that MSD built for us. They are call 5 volts square waved. I have mentioned in the past but was always told this worked do not have clue what you are talking about.

Regarding the Digital MSD window switch: Beto, at MSD, states there are instructions to program the unit strictly for an LS1. We cannot confirm their instructions state this as we are both at work.

Regarding the Pill Style switch: again Beto, the tech. line guy, states the unit has to be sent back to MSD to be configured for a 12 volt, 5 volt square conversion in order to work with the LS1 style motor as it uses only 1 coil. How are other LS1 guys using this old style Pill Switch with success...or is the tech. guy giving misinformation?

sounds right to me. also the digital switch has to be in 4 cyl mode to read rpms properly, and I do remember that I was going to get the pill syle, but I remember hearing on here like 2 years ago that it would have to be sent back, searching should yeild results, but you have it right on.
