I had mine at 825 for the longest time, but I couldn't get my FT's in line at idle. I bumped it up to 925 and it's fine now. It sure sounds good in the 800rpm range though don't it.

I run mine at 900 rpms. I could run it at 800 without too much trouble, but I don't like idling it that low because it increases the likelyhood of stalling out if I let out the clutch too fast. It would lope nicely though. As it is, you would never know I have a hotcam in it.

Mine is at 825. It was real lumpy and sounded like a stock car before I did any tuning. It still sounds good, just alot more stable.

yeah mine sounds good it idle way too rich before. its nice and stable now. on start up when you take off it may take a min for the car to run before the rpms wont drop when slowing. after that min though u can do whatever u want and she wont stall.

I've got mine at 900 right now. It idles fine at 800 but it pulls itself in first better with it set at 900. Its amazing how much smoother the idle is with a tune. Its almost too smooth now!

I idle my Hotcam at 700. I like the way it runs and sounds, slowing down when I let off the throttle is also what I wanted.

old 346 w/ TR224 = 800RPM
new 388 w/ 244/249 roller = 1000RPM

I was able to get the 346/TR224 to idle as low as 600 (M6 car) but it was really touchy at times (sounded good though ).......not worth the trouble though.....

I got my HotCam idling at 925 like others with my M6. I don't know how some of you idling so low with the hotcam. Mine used to be at 800 and it would die out every now and then.

Yeah.. lol. I did. I recently got a HPtuner and with Dr. Horists help changed everything. Almost done, then I'm gonna try dropping the idle again.

My hotcam idles fine at 900 with or without AC on, for the guy that asked above. I wouldn't drop it any more with the AC on though.
