Im a Mechanic myself but im completly stumped by my current problem because im not the greatest with the GM Skip Shift assembly and how it works. Im gettin the DTC P0803 when i scan my computer and as soon as i noticed the trouble code it just so happens that my second gear is almost impossible to go into, it will feel like its in 2nd but when i let the clutch out it shoots it outta gear and grinds and you cant shift into 2nd unless your shifting hard like above 2500. If anyone has ever had this problem or knows alot about the skipshift system please respond. Thanks

make sure the solenoid on the driver side of the tranny is still plugged up and getting power. if it is it may have gone bad and needs to be replaced
