I agree!

Explain your reasoning why you could slow down with 1 or 2 heat ranges cooler plug?

A colder plug, pulls heat out of a chamber...Less heat=better ability to make mo powa with less chances of detonation.

Now a suppper cold plug could cause a slight drop in NA power but chances are very slim.

All my new bests have been with TR6 or 7 plugs. Most ppl I can see doing the colder plug and then running NA would be nitrous junkies like us. However, if many ppl run race gas in there car for nitrous runs, and then inadvertently run NA and slow down some as the Race gas burns slower and they mistakenly blame the plugs.

If you're really concerned about best performance on motor, try some iridium plugs. They're a lot more expensive than TR6s, but they will spark a little hotter due to the better conductor material.
