Default Skip-shift light

Hello,
I look under the FAQs for an answer to this but I didn't find one. If you install the skip shift eliminator is there any way to keep the light from coming on?

Thanks.

I'm sure the creators of the software at carputing.com have made it VIN-specific.

Hp tuners is not vin locked.
