I have 5.3 heads on a 4.060 bore with a 4.100 bore gasket and it sealed up just fine.

Yes, theyll seal fine, but will give you a whole bunch of other hardships like smaller, shrouded valves, small combstion chambers with too high compression, etc. I guess you could use them as a temporary fix, but theyre a far cry from optimum, IMO.
