Default stock car with 4* knock at WOT?

My 2000 ws6 m6 has about 2-4* of kr at wot from 3-6k.It is not always there though.sometimes it is and then its not.i had to pull almost 5 * off of it untill it stayed away for good but i feel like something is not fitting here.My o2's show about 900-910 at wot also and i tweaked my ve table to almost spot on although it was pretty close from the factory.Valvetrain noise is my only guess.

I'm wrestling with a KR problem myself. Same kind of scenario as you.. I have yet to do a VE tune (I will this week) and I haven't pulled any timing out of it yet (I don't really want too).

At any rate, for me I know I can blame it on crap sensors since I have a 98 car.. for you I'm not quite sure what to look for there. Do you have an aftermarket exhaust on the car or something that might be banging somewhere?

what routine did you go thru to "tweak" your table...
have you verified your A/F with a wideband...
does it knock when you unplug the MAF??
have you proted you MAF??

and almost forgot to ask...any mods??

no major mods just a lid thats all.my o2 sensors read about 910 and have not touched anything but the ve table a very little down low no major changes at all just under 3500 rpm.my kr comes on about 3-6k rpm.i dont know what it is.910 on the o2s should be fine i mean its stock it should be a hair rich if anything.
