Gears & Axles - Could I break the rear?

With my mods in signature on 315 sumitumo's (street tires) could i break my rear. It has 101,000 miles on it and 3.73 gears (maybe 20k miles old). I am afraid of launching because i don't want to break it.

I would say it's a crap shoot. If you hook it may break. Heck it may break if you don't hook that great on a hard launch.

I'm just wondering what I could get away with. Am I just going to have to slip it off the start like normal everyday driving? That would suck because my et would be crap.

Launch under 2.5K to be safe.

how about not hooking and on the 1-2 shift...broke probably 6 teeth off of the ring gear... :bang:
