Was given Weld prostars, but..... My father in law had a set of Prostars that are 15x8 (the size I want) but, they have 4.5" backspace instead of the preferred 5.5". I need to run a 275/60-15 tire(4.30 gears). Will they fit? Will they stick out too far? They were free, so if I can make them work w/out cutting or looking too weird sticking out I would like to run em. I just got a 9" rear, LGM TA, and Denny's nitrous ready D.S. and am low on funds, so free rims would help...Alot!

free prostars!! that's awesome. 
My dad just picked up a set of 15x10's with a 4" backspacing for $75 which is a hell of a deal either way. we were going to sell them but I slapped them on my camaro to see if they fit and they do so we kept them.

It's a good thing to marry into a drag racing family!! Also got a D.S. loop and adj. LCA's from him the other day. $75 sounds good too! I tried to pay for them, but he wouldn't take it.
