That cam will do nothing with stock exhaust manifolds. You need LT's before even thinking about that cam.

I think you should be there with that cam. W/ my old set up I had full boltons and a tr224 and I maid 392/386. You might want to get a few more boltons and a tune when your done and you should be there. good luck

ive got a 235/237 futral cam on stock z06 manifolds. i ran 95mph 1/8 sunday in the heat at 3400#. turning a converter and a 9" too.
the 240 range may be a big jump for manifolds, but ive had good luck with them.
im dynoing the car saturday.

It says he has long tubes in his post. The cam should work great, but clearence may be an issue. Be sure to check on that before the initial start up.

That cam should be capable of 400 rwhp if it fits, but you might not make the jump all the way from 340rwhp with just the cam and a tune. I'd advise you to get a new intake manifold (eg LS6) to go with it. Cam, intake, and tune combined should get you close. If not, throw a pulley on there too.

Yes, 400 rwhp should be attainable with full boltons and a good tune, however piston / valve clearance might be too tight. You may need to pull the heads and flycut the pistons to fit it.

ditto, i doubt you'll clear the pistons with that much lift.

i do think you'll make a good amount of power with that though, if your looking for a cam of that size that will fit without flycutting, there are several that have a little longer duration but less lift.

I think an X3 or FM 14 would be better choice. Especially the FM14 for street friendliness.

I agree about the f14... It produces good numbers.

Everytime I suggest a futral cam, about a hundred TSP guy come out of the woodwork and accuse me of pimping futral.

Oh well, yeah f14 for drivability, futral RJ for power, or go with one of the other cams already mentioned above.
