I didn't do mine but I do know the shop that did, did not remove the rear end OR cut the trunk. They pulled the inner plastic fender wells out and took the wheels off, then lowered the rear end all the way down with the drive shaft, control arms, shocks etc still hooked up, laid the tank forward and got it out. Not sure on your other questions but I just gave them the pump, they wired it. Did not use the Racetronix kit. The 255 walbro made enough fuel for my 546rwhp with stock lines, injectors and filter with no booster pump or anything. Hope that helps
