"SideStep" over on the Corvette Forum recently swapped his G1 for the Futral F13. He was not happy with the G1, he says the F13 is alot better. You might want to contact him to get more first hand info.

FM1-F11- FMS Custom Grind Camshaft - 228"/230" .576"/.595" 112/114LSA - aggressive profile with a 2200-6600 RPM range, fair idle
FM1-F13- FMS Custom Grind Camshaft - 230"/232" .595"/.585" 112/114LSA - aggressive profile with a 2500-6800 RPM range, rough idle
MTI-G1 228 232 .588 .575 113
As you can see going from a FM13 to a G1 would be a downgrade IMO, so no wonder he was not pleased.
Personally, I would prefer FM11/FM13 too from the tons of happy camper feedback I've read around here.

Well, to be completely honest my G1 was on a 115lsa. If I would have done the 113lsa I am SURE I would have been much happier with it. The F11 and F13 are great cams.
FYI with my G1 (115lsa) and a set of MTI 2e heads (66cc) I hit 417/401 SAE to the tires.... 113lsa should easily hit the 420s
Good Luck,

I made 430.2 rwhp with my G1 (on a 113) and stage IIe heads on my Z06. This was on a DynaPack dyno that is known to make lower numbers compared to a DynoJet.

I've never heard of the G1 on a 115LSA ever before-I've been in a mix-up tossing FMS F13 vs. MTI G1 vs. TSP Torquer T2 lately with which is more street friendly (city driving), which produces the best power, which would sound the best, and what ring and pinion would they require out back 3.73's or 4.10's for ideal daily driving?
Hate to Hi-Jack the thread but if anyone can asnwer the above please do so here or PM me with info if possible
thanks

What CC were the chambers? What castings 853, 241, 243???
Would you be able to post a dyno-graph??? I can host it if you cannot...

I have no idea what size chambers I have... they are 243's that were not shaved for more compression. I simply wanted a "package" that worked together, and the guys from MTI hooked me up with this.
Because I have had very few drivability problems, I wish I had gone bigger on the cam.. something like the Y1 cam.
I have a dyno graph here somewhere... I'll try to scan it and email it to you to post.
BTW, when I get my FAST 90 setup complete (if I can figure out the PCV arrangement) I'm redynoing. Also, I just installed Borla Stingers.

I've said this many times before. To look at .050 specs and decide this is a good cam is a waste of time.
One has to take into consideration and most importantly understand all the VE's involved and when they occur. Basically does the cam match its purpose and the rest of the combo.
