Goodyear GS-D3 vs BF Goodrich KDW
Are there any pro's and cons with these tires that would really make one better than the other. I have heard the the KDW wear quicker, and that the Goodyears are better in rain.
Or maybe there is a tire out there that I am missing.

I have over 20k on my KDW's and there is a TON of tread left. like 80+%
I like them in the rain too
a friend has the D3s in 315s on the rear of his car, with like 40k+ on them with a decent amount left too though.
Dont think you could go wrong with either IMO.

Didn't fare too well, VERY rough ride, but DAMN it looked good...Bottom-line, after 40K-50K miles the shocks were gone, the ride was jarring, and taking turns was scary at times! I did not feel safe in it.
After I sold it, Wifey said I could find a newer one, and I bought my 01SS used, only had 23K miles on it for $23K dollars, and I KNEW what I wasn't going to do, which was to buy the Prokits and Bilstein HD's...
I got the GC coilover spring setup, with coilover fronts and this ground control setup where I could raise and lower all 4 corners. Based on Sam Strano's recommendations, I got the front springs @500lbs, they are linear rated, not progressive springs, they work GREAT with the Koni DA's that I got. The rears are set @150lbs, and BTW the springs are made by Eibach as well.
Anyway, to answer a short question with a LONG-*** STORY, yes it is lowered, got the front fender lip 26" from the ground, and rear fender lip is at 26-5/8", so there you go. I thought I would bottom out a lot, but with the spring settings, I don't bottom out often, I just take it easy when approaching dips, nothing TOO easy, and DAMN my car handles like a champ. I'll take ANYONE on in the twisties, that's for sure.

I have GS-D3's and they're awesome... just like everyone else has said, they handle great on both dry and wet surfaces. I'm sure the other tire is nice as well but I only have experience with one

I have only used KDWs since I've bought my car and I really like them. I now have KDs out back since I'm running 315s but they are pretty good too. They wear a little quicker than I would like but I've gotten a good two years out of a set. That is on my Daily Driver too
