Default nuB question... Can you have a seperate fuel tank for a wet system?

I really don't feel like running 100+ octane just for the occaisional nitrous run. Is it possible to have a seperate fuel tank and pump with a 116 while still running 93 in the stock tank? That way, programming the computer I wouldn't have to set the ignition back too far, right? I'm getting my LSX on soon and am looking at my options for a direct port and how I can make it work best for me.

Also, the ZEX kit is hot, screw the purple bottle, I like the extra safety features but I'm not touching it till someone who's actually running it speaks up. Otherwise it's going to be TNT.

Thanks a lot....

Awsome...

Is there a big benfit? When you hit the button, what's the ratio of stock fuel to fuel from the wet being injected? (Correct me if I'm wrong but if you have a 500hp and a 250hp nitrous... you'd be 2/3 to 1/3?)

there are a few benifits, one you only have to buy a small quantity of c16 or 100 octane, you can tune it without needing jets (via the reg). as for your last question i dont know why it is important to know how much fuel is being added via stock or added via external cell

What about if you have alcohol in a tank and run it as the "wet" part of the shot, I was always told that n20 and alky go hand in hand.

if you are going to use a different supply of fuel, make sure you have a fuel pump that can supply the correct pressure required for an EFI motor. most places would sell you a cheap holley pump. low pressure stuff for carbs.
make sure you get the right parts, and a 2nd fuel tank works like a champ.
good luck.

Im not a big fan of using the alcohol. The reason why is that it is to hard to read the plugs. Its not worth the added headache.Just run good race gas...

Our system that does not require relocating the battery is now finished and in stack.
