heads/cam ws6 vs. 11 sec mach 1...long story
last night i went to boardman ohio to this giant car cruise which was awesome. afterwards i wanted to race some people just for the fun of it so me and my buddy go to austintown to this hangout area. i end up getting lined up with this new white mach 1. heres the funny part, the guy tells me all he has done is a full exhaust and a chip and it dyno'd 345-350 on a mustang dyno but he runs 11.9s@116. 3600lbs w/ him mind you....i told him BS! i know he has something else done other than a full exhaust to run 11.9s, he just said " oh well your just another non believer" . he also said he has stock gears and he was running on ET streets and it was a 6 speed. i was on bald bfg's DR's. we agreed to go from a dig then a 1st gear roll. the guy says go! he's off hooking good, defiantely gets the lead, my *** end gets sideway then i finally hook, he has about a car on me, by the top of 1st my front end is at his front wheels, 2nd gear began to pass him, went to 3rd cant remeber how high i took it to but i was definately in the lead and shut down. we turned around was gonna go from a 1st gear roll but it felt like i had a flat tire, so were nexts to each other, by this time i knew something wasnt right so i didnt run. i pull over to where all the people are to check it out, i ended finding out that i blew a 1" hole into the sidewall of my tire which i know was not helping me any as were racing. it is on video but after i blew the tire, totally forgot to get the website to where it will be at. i will defiantely try to get it. i had fun but i think he was pissed since he didnt even say "nice race" and didnt even come back to watch the video. after the race there was soem talking going on that he was on the bottle no matter....i know hes not running 11.9s with just a exhaust and chip. stock for stock, ls1's and new mach 1s are basically in the same ball park, mid 13's. and i know a a ls1 with a full exhaust and chip isnt running 11's.

340-350 RWHP with a DOHC 4.6 would mean internal engine work (heads/cam). "Bolt-on" cars make, at the very most, in the 320s.

Joe's car is quite impressive, but it has quite a bit more than just bolt-ons and an FR500 intake. To the best of my knowledge, there isn't a heads/cam/intake 400 RWHP DOHC.
