i think i cracked a piston cause it doesnt smoke on idle or start up so its not valve seals it just smokes when you give it a 6,000rpm rev and when its on its way back down to idle so either its a cracked piston or the rings and when you pull the oil fill cap off and pull the dipstick it smokes out of the tube on idle and then it comes out of the oil fill cap when you rev it a little. a guy on this board said i might of broke a land but i wont be able to tell till i pull the motor. what are your thoughts? the weird thing is, is that it pulls like a SOB whether its on motor or the bottle so i dunno know maybe that explains the lower dyno #'s huh?

i also ran a code on it and it says that there was a cylinder missfire i dunno which one but there was a missfire according to the scan so i dunno help me out here guys

The misfire is probably from a fouled plug.. Pull the plugs and if you find one that is covered in oil then you will know which cylinder is acting up.. Sounds like a ring problem to me. But if you check the plugs it should help diagnose the problem and where the problem is..

If the rings were bad, it would smoke all the time. If the tuning if off, it will have the wrong air to fuel mixture wich will be the blue smoke.
And the misfire??? I did not see anything in the post about that........

its all stock except for a 100 shot lid gears and gutted cats and thats all thats done to it and i check the driver side bank plugs and they were all clear so now all i have to do it just the passenger side bank now so ant more ideas appreciated

ok guys just got done doing a compression test and well #7 is dead 1.3.5 were all (160-170) and #7 is 50 so #7 ring is im assuming dead so hopefully a stroker will be on the way soon thanks for your guys input and ill keep you updated
