I dont have pics but I have the factory installed hurst shifter and I honestly think its a POS compared to the ones you can get online. They are half the price from what factory charges you and are better. I know this is , sorry .

The hurst has a cast aluminum base that is thicker than the gold pressed metal base shown in the picture. If it is pressed metal, it's the base stock shifter.

There should be an H on top of the shifter ****. There is also a curve at the top, compared to the stock one which has pretty straight lines coming down.

I agree with calhoon and superduty. First picture is the base t56 shifter. Post above is the optional factory hurst.

Definately not. I know this because I have that first pictured shifter sitting in a drawer at home, and my car was not originally optioned with the hurst short throw shifter.

There is a difference between the factory stock shifter (first pic) and the factory hurst (second picture) and the Hurst Billet Plus shifter (not pictured).

The first factory stock shifter came standard on m6's. The second factory hurst was a $250 option, IIRC. The Hurts Billet shifter is aftermarket only and was not available from the factory.
