its a waste of money. either get a lifetime tune package at a local shop, or if you have a laptop buy HPTuners or EFILive. much better investments.

If you don't have a laptop, but just want to be able to tune basic stuff like fan settings, shift points, rev limiter, etc. then a cheap used HPP3 would do fine. I see them get bought and sold for as low as $100-150, maybe even lower for local sales.

If you plan to do a lot of mods and want to tune on your own, then just get a laptop and some good tuning/scanning software. I used autotap for scaning and LS1 Edit for tuning on my WS6 starting back in '02. For my Z28 I didn't plan anything serious so an HPP was just fine. Don't pay full price for one though.

JUNK, would not waste the money. Like cyphur_traq said, get a tune or an editing program. Whether U have to go across country to get a tune done or not, it is still worth it. Best place for me is a 5 hour drive, but I will do it anytime I need a good, trusted TUNE.
