Chevrolet Camaro 1967-2002 - auto to manual trans

I love my 2002 Z28 but unfortunatley it's automatic. Im thinking about putting in a manual tanny and i realize the work that will go into this. I would have it done by a pro. because im in Iraq and cant do it. Is it advisable to do this or not? I hate having a auto, it's way less fun then manual.

There are a number of people who have converted both from manual to auto, and from auto to manual :) If you think you'd enjoy it more, and you've got the money (and obviously you have the time since you aren't needing your car now ;) ), I don't see why not.
