I am going to need a new clutch fairly soon (heads/cam going on my car in 2 weeks), but what a PITA. I have been reasearching and researching and came to this conclusion: picking a clutch today is a crap shoot. Some people have good luck with X brand, some don't. I was leaning towards a spec3, but now am not sure. The aussie seems promising, but nobody has one with any decent miles on it yet, and its big money!

So, I guess my question is would it be a good idea to wait for the 06 Z06 clutch to come out in parts? It will hold 500bhp, which is about what I hope to make. Anybody else thinking about this? Thanks.

Very interested in this as well. People have been complaining about the c6 clutch feel, FWIW.

I have not driven a C6. Do you specifically what people don't like about it? The only C6 I drove, and the only owners I know so far have autos in their cars.

I just wish their was a good clutch for our cars currently.

I think the C6 is a good bit lighter too, but it is probably going to be better than what is in my car.
